When we mere mortals play a game, it’s simple. You take a ball or some “thing”, and you throw it, kick it or hit it with a stick until the end of time. At which point, you’re the winner or everyone’s a winner because you all exercised or now have an excuse to eat some comfort food and drink alcohol. But once you introduce money into it, everything changes. It becomes a sport and instead of casual amateurism, professionals train their bodies and minds so they win more than they lose. After all, when you’re paid by results, you want those results to produce piles of the green stuff. Once you put money behind pride, the push is on to make sure you have the edge. If your natural abilities are not enough, the temptation is to “cheat”. Ah, a wonderful word! What’s cheating? The easy answer — it’s getting an unfair advantage. So, if you know your opponent likes to play fast, you play slow. You shout and scream abuse to intimidate him or her. If you need big muscles, you do steroids (like everyone else). The folks who draw up the rules have to keep the sport as fair as possible without killing spectator interest. The fans must want to pay to see it played. If you stop the players from being too creative, the paying fans may lose interest and the ticket money will dry up. That would never do. On the doping front, the responsibility fall to the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). It decides what’s fair on the basis of scientific evidence. Except, of course, that what’s “fair” one year, may be considered unfair the next. Fashions and sporting cultures change. The latest hot potato is unusual. We all know how effective viagra can be in the sack. But it seems top sportsmen have been using it to increase their competitive edge. Since it dilates blood vessels, it can improve the flow of oxygenated blood around the body and increase endurance, especially when the player is competing above sea level. WADA has commissioned two research projects. One is looking at whether it gives an unfair advantage where cyclists, distance runners or players need good aerobic performance but there is air pollution or altitude is a factor. The other is looking at its use in training. If the results suggest unfair advantage, viagra could be banned in September 2009. So two final thoughts. The first is that the research is difficult because none of the players will take this drug on its own. It will be one of a cocktail to enhance performance. The two research groups are testing viagra on its own. This makes the results difficult to relate to the question of whether players do get an edge. The second is that if professionals are getting a boost, you too could find your prowess improved in every kind of way if you use viagra. If you want endurance in sex (whether at altitude or not), this is the way to get it.

Bring it on if You Want to Get Ahead
Wednesday, April 30th, 2008When we mere mortals play a game, it’s simple. You take a ball or some “thing”, and you throw it, kick it or hit it with a stick until the end of time. Can females have an erection?
Sunday, April 27th, 2008My husband while doing oral sex says my clitoris and labia gets hard on and off throughout. He says before I orgasm it is very hard. He’s never experienced this with another woman. I am wondering if there’s something wrong or is this normal? Is this like a female version of an erection?
Any advice/knowledge in this area would be helpful. I googled it and got tons of porn sites and male erectile dysfunction links, lol.
Wow there is such little detail online on this topic. I keep trying different search engines and keywords as well.
What Does the US Government Actually Say About Generics?
Sunday, April 27th, 2008It is always pleasing to find a government agency with a specialized website. In this case, the FDA maintains a site devoted to generic drugs at http://www.fda.gov/cder/ogd/. There are over two-hundred-thirty staff whose task it is to ensure that the generic drugs approved are safe for consumers to use. Just to give you an idea of the scale of the operation, in 2004, there were 563 applications made to license the production of a generic drug. There were 880 applications made in 2007. In other words, a vast number of generic drugs come on to the market every year. They are in every way as safe and effective as the original branded version they now compete with. So generic viagra is identical to branded viagra except that it is cheaper. As a part of its function, the Office of Generic Drugs in the FDA monitors and researches the way in which the market works when generics enter. The supposed advantage is that any competition from a generic manufacturer will force the holder of the patent to drop its price. The consumer therefore benefits immediately. But its research shows that one generic manufacturer has very little effect on prices within the market. The FDA has a detailed analysis of the market from 1999 to 2004 and price is not significantly affected until a second generic manufacturer starts to sell into the market. The reason is simple. When the first generic competitor enters, even a small price reduction gives it a market edge. But when a second company appears, the two generic manufacturers compete with each other to set the price for a generic version of the original drug. The average result is half the original branded price. In fact, if you now look at the prices for generic viagra you will find it is often less than half the price of the branded version. The greater the quantity you buy, the better the price per tablet (plus the possibility of bonus tablets from some of the online pharmacies). This is a perfect working example of the research in action. It is also a perfect explanation for Big Pharma’s dislike of generic manufacturers. Once two generic manufacturers start competing with each other, the original manufacturer’s profit margin drops like a stone. It’s great for the consumer. Bad news for the stockholders.

Tuesday, April 22nd, 2008How to Treat Men Diagnosed With Cardiovascular Disease?
Tuesday, April 22nd, 2008Because diagnosis and treatments have been improving steadily over the last decades, more men than ever before are now living longer with cardiovascular disease. In the last century, heart attacks were the most common cause of death by a significant margin. Now with better drugs and lifestyle changes, deaths from cardiovascular disease have been falling. But this does not mean that these men have a satisfactory quality of life. The majority of men are now older, overweight, living in deprived areas and depressed. Many also find themselves affected by Type 2 Diabetes as the weight increases. It’s difficult to prevent this development because, with limited budgets, most men cannot afford healthy food options. Cheap processed food has a high fat content and excess salt. General risks are increased significantly if the men also smoke and neglect to take any physical exercise. As a routine, men should be encouraged to monitor their waist measurements as a simple means of judging when the risks are rising. Anything over 37 inches for men (and 31.5 inches for women) is in the danger zone and suggests the need to check blood pressure. Once a person is at risk, there should be positive intervention to counsel lifestyle changes, starting with quitting smoking and eating a more healthy diet to reduce the cholesterol levels. However, there is a significant link between cardiovascular disease and erectile dysfunction (ED). It may be a side-effect of the drugs to control the cardiovascular problems, damage to the arterial system or nerve endings, or it may be linked to the depression many experience. The interaction between these factors can produce a vicious cycle. As the ED worsens, depression deepens justifying more powerful drugs that further affect sexual performance. All men at risk should be asked a direct question, “Are you suffering from ED?” If the answer is, “Yes.” this should trigger a review of the drugs being taken, and the prescription of viagra to begin restoring sexual activity. However, to be effective, men must be convinced that ED is a symptom of cardiovascular disease and be prepared to answer the question honestly. Too many consider such a question to invade their privacy, and either lie or refuse to answer. In its own right, this process is difficult because those who live in poverty and in deprived areas are often not contacted as easily and are reluctant to come into clinics for any type of treatment. It may be necessary for local health providers to physically go into the community to provide health screening and health assessments. This is preventative medicine as it should be practised. The earlier ED is identified as a predictive symptom of cardiovascular disease, the more men may be saved the trauma of a stroke or heart attack. This will require a diversion of funding to community-based medicine and to state funding of medications such as viagra to help treat the ED. But it should save money in the long term.

Premature Ejaculation Cure Through Herbs
Friday, April 18th, 2008Every man in this world desires to love his beloved and express his love to her in the most different way. But there might occur some problem that stops you in achieving this wonderful feeling. In contrast to it, it may become the cause of constant tension in the relationship you have with her. She might feel unsatisfied with the love you give to her and desires more from you.
More then any other disease premature ejaculation is the biggest sexual problems males suffer from. Premature ejaculation is a serious issue worldwide with over 40 % of males suffering from this problem. Premature ejaculation can be defined as the inability to control the early ejaculation of sperm in the process of sexual intercourse. In more precise definition it can be defined as the condition in which a male is not able to make a women achieve her orgasm in more then half the sexual encounter he has with her.
The cause of premature ejaculation can be both physical and psychological. If we talk about today’s era this is more often caused due to physiological aspect than to the physical aspect. This is stated so as most of the work done in today’s world has become more and more inclined towards the application of or mind rather than the physical activities. This leads to stress and tensions that are regarded as on of the major cause of disturbances in our physiology as compared to anatomy.

Why Ed Treatment Rationing on the Nhs Should be Relaxed
Friday, April 18th, 2008As a result of guidelines designed to protect the governments budget, it is currently very difficult to get treatments for Erectile Dysfunction on the NHS. Medicine treatments for ED are restricted to those suffering from certain specific medical conditions:
• Diabetes
• Multiple sclerosis
• Parkinson’s Disease
• Poliomyelitis
• Prostate cancer
• Prostatectomy
• Radical pelvic surgery
• Renal failure treated by dialysis or transplant
• Severe pelvic injury
• Single gene neurological disease
• Spinal cord injury
Many groups, including The Impotence Association are calling for the prescribing restrictions on treatments for erectile dysfunction (ED), including Viagra to be relaxed Figures from the association show almost three-quarters of men with impotence experience relationship problems. And two-thirds become depressed. But of those who receive treatment, 93% say it has improved their lives. The Impotence Association says the current prescribing restrictions fail to take into account the impact of impotence on patients and their families. It is calling for all men with impotence, whatever its cause, to be treated on the NHS.
Setting limits to healthcare is never easy. There does have to be some control and priorities need to be set., especially in light of the fact that Viagra has become somewhat of a recreational drug in recent years. However, it seems illogical to draw a line which excludes a high proportion of genuine and highly treatable ED sufferers, most notably people suffering impotence from the side effects of medicines, high blood pressure or temporary psychological related ED. The greatest issue here is one of inequality, cardiovascular disease and mental ill-health are at the top of the government’s health agenda yet men who suffer ED as a result of these conditions are not entitled to ED medication.
Doctors also say the government’s decision to ration oral ED treatments such as Viagra, Levitra and Ciais is arbitrary, “bizarre” and unfair and does not go anywhere to meeting clinical need for the majority of impotent men. Only about 20-25% of patients suffering with impotence are covered by NHS extremely restrictive guidelines. According to specialists if coronary artery disease, including high blood pressure, was included, this would lift the number to 80%. Moreover, Viagra does not work as well for diabetics as for people with coronary artery disease. Only 55-60% of diabetics responded to Viagra, whereas. Men with coronary heart disease were more likely to respond and the drug was effective for 80% of men with psychological problems.
Others argue that it seems illogical to restrict Viagra, while still allowing more expensive treatments for impotence which are less safe and more expensive, for example, injection therapy and extensive psychotherapy. It is very difficult to draw a line between physical and psychological causes of impotence in many cases. There is not a guaranteed diagnostic test which can show whether impotence is due to physical or psychological. Surely GPs are better equipped to decide if a person’s ED is due to psychological problems as they know the person’s history and personal circumstances.
Outside of improving the quality of someone’s life, the treatment of ED is also important from a general well-being point of view. ED is often a red flag that something’s not right in the body’s system. Men, feeling deterred from visiting their GP because they do not think they will get treatment could go undiagnosed of more serious conditions such as cardiovascular disease.
and diabetes.

Erectile Dysfunction Natural Cure- Top Five Ways to Treat Male Impotence Without Drugs
Wednesday, April 16th, 2008Millions of men are searching for the most effective erectile dysfunction natural cure. Why is there so much search engine traffic on this topic? Maybe men are worried about the side effects of blindness or deafness that Viagra could give them. Maybe men want to become healthier? Or maybe it is because natural health is the newest fad.
Whatever the reason, there are numerous remedies to cure male impotence. Even doctors are now recommending simple home treatments before writing up a prescription of Levitra.
So what are the top five ways to cure your erectile dysfunction? Well, most of the remedies deal with circulation. Dr. Rufus Green Jr., M.D. of St. Paul Medical Center states, “Poor circulation, specifically poor blood flow to the penile arteries due to hardening and narrowing of the arteries (arteriosclerosis), or thickening of the blood, can cause impotence.”
Top 5 Ways to Cure Impotence
5. Circulation- As stated earlier, circulation is critical! Simple breathing techniques should be incorporated in all treatments. Millions of men secretly practice breathing exercises at their work desk that boost circulation and oxygen levels by 10%. There are numerous exercises you can learn.
4. Water - By far the most underestimated natural remedy. Water has literally thousands of benefits and one of them is flushing your body. Water has been shown to boost circulation levels by flushing plaque, toxins and cholesterol. You should drink 14 cups of water a day and go to the bathroom often.
3. Vitamin Therapy - There are core vitamins that allow your body to create ample circulation levels. Research has shown that many sufferers are deficient in a few core vitamins. For instance, “Vitamin A deficiency has been one cause of impotence in some men,” says Elson Haas, M.D., Director of Prevention Medical Center in California.
2. Lifestyle Habits - Your body is trying to get your attention through impotence. Circulation problems typically mean that your circulatory system is not functioning properly. Simple lifestyle habits can help with the problem. Some simple tips would be to stop smoking (causes plaque in arteries), keeping meals smaller (about the size of your fist), lower caffeine intake and commit to a daily sweat (exercise).
1. You Nutrition Plan - Literally your diet could fill up 5 pages of things you should know but here are some basic tips. You should eat a high fiber diet that is low in fat and cholesterol. Your diet will give you the proper minerals and vitamins if you know what to look for. Our Erectile Dysfunction Remedy Report goes in thorough detail about your diet.
