Rev Up Your Libido

Allen Watson asked:

How many times have your heard excuses like “NOT tonight dear, I’ve a migraine.” “What will your parents say if they hear us? Forget it.” I’m sleepy. Can we do it tomorrow?” from your partner. This is one factor which has a very heavy impact on marital or love life. If such problems occur more than once a week, then it needs a serious thought.

Sexual satisfaction is a very vital factor for a healthy, lasting marriage, but somehow, something’s going wrong. From physical exertion to performance anxiety, erectile dysfunction and several factors could affect your libido. Problems like impotence can easily be treated through drugs like  Viagra and Cialis but other issues need to be taken care of.

Physical factors like tiresome on job schedule, the kitchen, in-laws and probably the kids during the daytime could drain energy from anyone. If you can’t keep your eyes open by the time you enter the bedroom, it’s difficult to even think of sex.

Unlike men, age affects a woman’s sex drive, starting from late 30s. Pregnancy and menopause could also be major reasons why sex drive takes a beating. Women tend to lose interest in sex after these turning points in their lives.

Physical ageing also brings in feelings of being unattractive or undesirable. These feelings along with misconceptions about being too old to enjoy sex make it more difficult to get aroused.

But one has to understand the benefits of se for a good relationship. Ignoring sex can be equal to ignoring your happily married life. One’s sexual health is a must for a person’s all round happy. Sound sexual health indicates good sexual capability. Also the body and mind should be free from any defect / inability in respect of any kind of sexual activity. This will make a couple’s sex life happy and energetic.
